Writing The Book and Other Tidbits

I'm happy to say I finally finished the revisions on Chapter 2! Whew!! Chapter 3 won't be as hard because I'm not making major changes in it. I also need to look at the storyboard again and make changes in the plot. Writing is never a simple process of getting it right the first time. Both the characters and the story change during the actual process of writing regardless of my outlines. There is always that shift in a character's reaction or motivations and invaribly a change follows. However, it is those surprises that makes writing a story unpredictable and exciting as well.

On the 15th, I decided on a deadline of September 15. As long as there are no emergencies in my life, I hope to have my revisions complete. This is Day 3 of my deadline.

My week has been a quiet one. I did get my tax rebate and I paid off my Sears card, which is not what the government wanted me to do! LOL. I did treat myself to some really pretty bookends that were on clearance in the gift shop next door to Sears. Besides that, I made a pizza today and it was sooo good!!
