We missed the freezing rain! Yay! Overall, it has been a good week and I'm always glad when Friday comes.
This evening I decided I wanted catfish for dinner so I met a friend at a restuarant. I had catfish with slaw and a baked potato, along with iced tea. I don't eat a big dinner that often. However, it did provide with a surge of energy when I got home and I did some housework. With the weekend ahead, I was glad to get that out of the way.
I watched American Gangster. Not a bad movie but not great either. I'm glad I didn't go to the theater to see this one. The first hour is slow. The movie didn't get interesting until the two main characters came into contact during the last part of it, which is the best part of this movie. I'd give it three stars. Yuma was a much better film.

I love that pic of you and the ponytail. It's GORGEOUS! All of the pics are. The new chapter is almost finished! Hooray! I got to go see Mother today, if they aren't sick, and then I'll come home and finish it.

I love fried catfish ;) Actually, Pubix has a pretty darn good fried catfish in the their deli area... where they make their sandwiches and fried chicken. The publix near me only serves it on fridays though... so I have to time my catfish cravings for fridays ;)
I'm almost back!! I actually reread 2 chapters of my young adult today and make a few changes ;)
