Happy New Year!

I hope wherever you are as 2009 rolls in, you are having a great time! I'm excited about the new year. I hope it will bring better times to our country. As 2008 ends, I can't complain. I am relatively healthy. I have my aches and pains, especially my knee but I can manage it. I have a good job and a decent place to live. So far, our business has remained steady and that's good. I do want to pay off a couple of bills this year and save more if I can. Despite the decrease in gas prices, groceries are still high.

My major writing goal is to get my current book finished. I have a short story idea I want to pursue and I may tackle my first screenplay. I have wanted to try writing one for years. I'm also going to change my Blogger nickname to a pseudonym that I want to try out for a while.
