Today, it was back-to-work after the Christmas holidays. I did enjoy Christmas day. It was one of those perfect days of peace and quiet. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of going shopping in Tupelo the day after Thanksgiving. Talk about a madhouse. We had to wait everywhere we went. That's typical at Cracker Barrel and browsing around their gift shop was fun. However, the mall was too crowded. Every available bench was taken, along with every table in the dining area. I had to rent a stroller to haul around some picture frames I bought. If there is a recession, it doesn't seem to have hit around here yet. Christmas week I was not in a restaurant or a store that wasn't full.

Now this week will usher in a new year and it is time to think about goals!
