Granny Jane

Today one of my dearest friends is going to become a grandmother for the first time. As of yet, I don't have any grandchildren and I don't expect any for a long time. But I know how exciting it must be to welcome a new baby into the family and to know another generation has joined the family tree. And, this is a beautiful day and he will always celebrate his birthday during the prettiest time of the year.
