I went to the Moonlight and Magnolias conference this past weekend. As always, it was great fun and I love hanging out with other writers. I made several new aquaintances this weekend and met with an agent who wants to take a look at my book.
One of my best pals, Pat, was a finalist in the Maggie Inspirational category and she won! We were all thrilled for her and she certainly had no idea she would be the winner. Also another buddy at my table, Carla, was awarded third place in long contemporary and she got a request for her manuscript from the editor. We did our share of celebrating Saturday night.
So now it is back home and back to work. However, I'll be leaving again on the 22nd, heading for Houston this time.
