Batman Weekend

Yesterday, I tackled re-wallpapering a small hall in my house. It was the first time I've put up any wallpaper in several years and what a job!! Especially with my knee problem. However, I felt the wallpaper quality was not as good as in the past and this wasn't cheap wallpaper. If it wasn't so much work to take down wallpaper and paint, I would have done that but it is faster to wallpaper. I do want to advise you not to put up wallpaper unless you have a room that can't be painted. It is almost impossible to get it off the wall. Back years ago, you could loosen a corner and pop it off easily. Nowadays, you have scrap this stuff off and you can ruin your wall beneath unless you are very careful.

I had to take breaks during the wallpapering process so I decided to watch Batman Begins. (I'm going to see The Dark Knight this afternoon) I had forgot what a great movie Batman Begins is. It is nothing like the other Batman movies. It's a dark drama about fear. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it as a five-star treat. The reviews for The Dark Knight have been great so I'm looking forward to watching it. I'll post my thoughts on it. I'm sorry Heath Ledger isn't here to enjoy this big opening and the accolades his performance has gathered.
