Today has flown by. I got up early while it was cool and planted petunias in planters on either side of my back porch. Later on in the day, I stopped by a 75 percent off sale at a gift shop and bought the figurine pictured. I was looking for a few new things for my house. I loved her and she fit perfectly in the den. I gave the den a good cleaning today. Dusting and re-arranging what knots, etc. I also spent a few hours between projects writing. I have the first scene in Chapter 4 written after cutting and rewriting it a few times. Coming up is the first scene with the hero and Jesse James. I have a longhand sketch of it done already.

She is beautiful! I love things like this too. To me... she invokes the feeling of peace, not only in her posture but also in her colors and beach imprints. I want to go to the beach!!! AND 75% off is a deal!! Love those too!
Yeah, she was $18 and I paid around $4.50 for her.
