Saturday, Day 16

I love this look! Especially the hat. Very glamorous. I could imagine her being a heroine who is very much the femme fatale. BTW, it is Hedy Lamar. Isn't it amazing how classy and beautiful these girls looked back in the 30's. They have no competition nowadays.

Today started out with a walk in the park, until my knee started hurting so bad I had to limp back to my car. Only to notice that someone had hit the left rear fender. I'm guessing it happened while the car was in a parking lot yesterday evening. So, now, I'll have to get that fixed. Mostly I've spent the day reading a historical and I'll post a short review later. I did enjoy it. Also on Day 16, I did get revisions done on Chapter 3 and I'm ready to move onto Chapter 4.

I also puttered around my little garden. I'm surprised to see how fast the plants are growing! I also talked to the birthday gal, Janie, and we discussed how fast time has passed. Almost 18 years have flown by since we first met!
