This time last Saturday, my yard sale was over. I did have good luck with it and I got rid of the large items such as the microwave, bed, computer cart. Also in the afternoon, my son's grandmother passed away. We were expecting it as she had inoperable cancer. He drove home Sunday and the funeral was Monday.
She had a large family and it was a sad funeral for all of us. I thought highly of her as did many others in the rural community where she lived. The funeral home was packed with people and flowers. She had always been good to me, even when I was no longer a part of her family.
She will be missed.
