I've had a nice Sunday. After all the bad weather last night, today has been cold but sunny. I hope all the mothers out there had a good day. I got some books I wanted for my Mother's Day gift and I was quite happy.I took the honeysuckle photo in the woods behind my house. At this time, the honeysuckle is in full bloom and very fragrant. The breeze easily carries the scent across my backyard. It is one of those brief treasures of late spring!

My wife cut some branches from a lilac tree and put them in a pot. The smell in the house is subtle but wondefully fragrant. I love this time of year.
What a beautiful spot to have near your backyard! I can't wait to get into my garden and get things cleaned up. I just wish the weather would cooperate!!
