I guess I'm in Western mode. I definitely plan to watch Comanche Moon. The photo is from the CBS mini-series airing tonight as well as Tues and Wed. It is the prequel to Lonesome Dove. Doesn't Eomer from LOTR look good as Woodrow Call? I've watched the preview on CBS.com and Karl Urban sounds so much like Tommy Lee Jones! I was surprised. Lonesome Dove is my favorite Western. It was great and I love the soundtrack as well.
It has been a quiet, simple weekend. I definitely want to recommend a mini-series I am watching on DVD called Into The West. It is so good! I got the first disc from Net Flix and I only wish I had the next one.
I'm also working on figuring out what my goals are for this year. The one thing I'd love to do is sell the house. Last year, I wanted another job and I did accomplish that. I also need writing goals and better direction.

Dixie,
If you haven't seen 3:10 to Yuma, you have got to! It's fabulous!
I love Tommy Lee Jones...he has a ranch house and land outside of Seguine, here in Texas. Lonesome Dove was wonderful. Space Cowboys was good to! Have fun today!
Tanya, I've seen Yuma twice plus watched all the extras on the DVD. They were really good!!
Lizzie said this was great. I watched part of Persuasion and fell asleep. Not too much TV. I can't see to keep up, but Lonesome Dove was my fav western and I love these characters.
Dixie,
I'm gonna buy that movie. I LOVED it.
I'm looking forward to seeing the next part of CM tonight. Also hoping to get the Into The West DVD's from Netflix soon. I plan to buy Yuma too. I loved it too. I thought it was Russell Crowe's best movie since Gladitor.
I was so mad I missed the first hour of Comanche Moon! I was going to pick it up halfway through but decided to wait. I know it'll be out on DVD soon enough and then I can watch it straight through without interruption.
