Time Does Fly

I'm making a brief post. I can't believe it is already December!! This is my least favorite month! In December, the traffic and the crowds are terrible, no matter what time of day. Sometimes, I wonder where all these people are during other times of the year? Do they all just hibernate and wait until December to fill up all the parking spaces at Wal Mart? To make sure you have to wait for thirty minutes to get checked out? To keep traffic backed up at red lights? To muscle their way over you to get to the dressing rooms or gift-wrapping counter?

I have not done any shopping yet. I do have a couple of presents I got long ago. I don't want to do any shopping but I know my time is coming. I will have forge through the masses like a hunter through a jungle and hopefully come out with my kill unscathed. I'm sure I'll cuss a lot!

I did get my book proposal in the mail. One goal accomplished. I started reading Mortal Fear by Greg Iles Monday evening and that is all I have done for the past two evenings and part this one. It is a great read!! If you love suspense and intricate characterization, which is Iles is so good at creating, this will be a book you'll enjoy. I've read several of his books and this one I think is the best.

I also Rescue Dawn and I'm going to watch some of it tonight. And if I'm going to get all done, I have to go. I'm working on changing up the blog appearance as well.
