We had our first frost here last night and it has been chilly today. Winter is on its way. But we still have lots of fall color. I had my camera with me at work and I took some photos of the countryside.
I got some perk-up news today. I had submitted a short story to True Romance. It was the first time I'd written a confession story and they bought it. It's a cute little New Year's Eve story.
Even though it isn't summer, here's a quick easy way to make lemonade:
Mix a half-cup of bought lemon juice, 1/4 cup of sugar in one quart of water. Viola!!

We had snow here on the weekend. it's mostly gone now but it still feels pretty chilly. I'm not ready for winter. I never am. I just want to hibernate with a good book and hot chocolate until April.
