September 13th

I wish I had a lot of exciting news to report but I don't. I'm getting settled into my job now and I'm looking forward to fall. It has rained a lot today and this is the second time this week that it has rain so maybe the drought is coming to an end.

I always have more things to do than I have time. I want to do some work outside and maybe I'll get to that this weekend. I'd like to put fall decorations on the porch.

Also I'm thinking of going back to see Yuma again. A friend wants me to go with her. It is a great movie. Russell Crowe's best movie since Gladiator. And for Christian Bale, it is on par with Batman and the Prestige. I enjoyed both those movies too. I saw the previews to The Golden Compass and it looks like it will be a good fantasy movie.

I had a good time at the HOD workshop and picked up good points from the speakers. I'm going to Moonlight and Magnolias conference the end of this month. I signed up in February and I thought I'd have a book ready to go by now. LOL! That was before the moving and job debacle this summer.
